A year ago, Florida traveled to Auburn and ran into a much tougher squad than it expected, pulling out a narrow 45-40 win in the final seconds.
The Gators couldn’t get a shot to fall against the Tigers last year, and coach Billy Donovan and the team are now well aware that’s because Auburn gets after it on the defensive end of the floor.
“They’re going to change up defenses. They’ll do 2-2-1 press, they’ll do 2-3 zone, they’ll play man-to-man, they’ll do a lot of different things,” Donovan said. “They’re a very aggressive, hard-playing team.”
